Nothing is ever in.

I've only seen season 4 but Jujubee immediately won me over with the 'leg and dairy' line that I'm assuming was from the season she was originally on.

There are some good posts in the NYTimes comments but it's mostly liberal pablum and right wing agitators.

Yeah, I don't really think of it as an insult to Schaal, she's doing what her character asks of her and really that character type is what she's best at.  She's not the one who looked at an established cast and decided they needed an additional 'Mel from Flight of the Conchords' vibe, she just picks up the check.

Phil is a little handicapped by his character type as he can't be completely obtuse (which I actually though was a tiny bit problematic with Phil'sosophy but not enough to keep it from being really funny).  Perhaps I'm biased towards gags where characters are drawn towards doing something they've never vowed to do but

I can practically hear the studio execs at CBS saying "Look, we've got gay guys too! GLAAD award, please!"

They occasionally do it and I tend to chalk it up to the fact that you can hamstring yourself a bit with characters stating their intentions in the mockumentary format.  After all, why does a character do a confessional if not to state how they really feel?  I remember specifically hoping they'd just play off Ben

That might be one of the sweetest moments ever spawned by a graphic death threat on network television.

It has an extremely cold nitrogen base.
