Jurassic Park?

I'm pretty far on the other side of this. I'm tired of the "magic cop that's always right" schtick that pops up on seemingly every show.

Neon Boudeaux

That's Col. John Matrix.

That struck me as well. I've read several folks talking about this show as a comment on various unsavory or distasteful things about the legal system…to drop that turd of a line in there if that's your theme makes no sense.

His closing arguments could have been in any episode of L&O.

What's interesting (and I do think the intent of the show is as you describe, Ray is the killer) is that what's shown of this Ray fella is no more incriminating than the evidence against Mr. Khan.

I think they'd check a $300,000 transaction as well.

No, when she fires Chandra.

I assume that the firing scene would qualify.

I must have missed him throwing away a knife.

How could you prove anything if your characters don't behave realistically, or at least consistently with their character?

Sure they can. Look at most of the comments. Look at the comments from previous weeks. It totally worked. Throw money at a project, put it on HBO, it's pretty much guaranteed to be beatified.

I wonder if any other musical acts have had one hit and then failed to have significant financial success afterwards.

I hope it's ALF.
