Ugh…you're right, that was Vondas. And yeah, The Wire was brilliant. Damages is fun, but compared to The Wire, it's Baywatch.

I saw Galactic in concert once by a friend who insisted they were the Best Band Ever. It seemed like a seven hour show, and they played three songs.

Loved the Winstone scenes…
…and the casting of Bill Raymond as his dad.

The NPR rule
Basically, if NPR's Morning Edition/All Things Considered does a feature about a band, 99 percent of the time, I'll hate it.

Dream Dream Dream
The show's creators may not like them as narrative devices, but Damages' dream sequences have always been pretty effective, at least visually.

I mean, assuming the camera is maybe recording as well as broadcasting. At the very least, it shows he's not too troubled by the impending deaths of father and son tobin.

Winstone at the window
More creepy than funny, if you consider that he might be doing it to establish an alibi.

Oh yeah, definitely Kevin/Jenny. It slams the brakes on the show whenever it comes up.
