There's no happy ending when the homeless and/or mentally ill are mocked by the rich and powerful, but if next week this asshole realtor sulks his way into an L.A. soup kitchen and mutters to the people in charge "Justin Timberlake sent me," that would be a pretty good consolation prize.

Justin Timberlake's asshole friend sounds like the asshole I always assumed Justin Timberlake to be until everyone in entertainment said he was such a nice, multi-talented guy. But this asshole friend of his is most definitely an asshole.

My brother played with Quincy, either live or on the album, I'm not sure. He's met numerous big-time celebrities in his line of work, but hanging out with Dabney Coleman is one of the few times I've been genuinely jealous of him. Dabney Coleman is absolutely as good as it gets, both as an actor and as a human being.

I went to public school in Tennessee, and even here they prefaced our assigned reading of Animal Farm by saying, "it's not really about animals, kids." The allegorical nature of the story is probably the only thing most dummies like me remember about it.

The Murray Brothers/Road House story puts this one up in the Terri Garr/Bronson Pinchot realm of all-time classic Random Roles, but my personal takeaway was that John Hughes hated James Belushi, further confirming that John Hughes was an awesome human being.

Tami Sagher is a great comedy writer and by all accounts a very nice person. I hope she makes a ton of money off this.

That's my point exactly. Unless David Fincher's Accountant is here (possible gimmick poster?), we don't know for a fact how rich the man is, but all common sense would indicate that he could afford the $400k on his own quite easily. Which is why I brought up the rich guy I know. That guy has told me repeatedly that

I work with a rich guy. He has literally millions of dollars in the bank, in addition to his many investments, etc. He claims that any smart creative person should never invest their own money in a personal project, which I guess I understand and probably does make some sort of business sense, but it's hard, as an

We lived in NYC for six great years. Both my kids were born there. We
loved it. Now we live in the suburban town I grew up in. My family
loves that, too. Only the snobbiest of snobs can't find the
virtues in both big city livin' and tiny town dwellin'. So kudos to Sam Adams on that accomplishment.
