I'm with you 100% After the first few minutes, I just let it play in the background while I (gasp!) actually did my job! Sitcommers, you've got to be really off your game to make me pay attention to my work. For shame!

I saw the Rage/Wu-Tang tour and it was pretty awesome. I didn't know anything about Wu-Tang Clan (still don't, really), but I was impressed that they had no less than two dozen people on stage at all times and seemed to save money by having only three or four mics, which were constantly passed around in a mad frenzy.…

Little Feat is one of the great American bands of the 70s. Lowell George was a ridiculous, one-of-a-kind talent. It pains me to think people are giving credit for "Dixie Chicken" to Garth Brooks (though the latter seems like a good dude and was great as Old French Whore).

Dabney Coleman is awesome and I cannot wait to read that Random Roles. I swear it isn't the nostalgia talking when I say that he gave an amazing performance in the kinda kiddie movie "Cloak & Dagger" (in addition to all the higher-profile roles he had in the 80s). He and Gene Hackman should have played brothers in…

You can have both. I just wiki'd this book, and now I'm going to be busy spending that night at home making sure my daughter never learns to read.

I will never read this book and I will never see this movie, but I would buy two tickets to watch O'Neal make fun of them for an hour-and-a-half.

I worked for a songwriter when I was college. On a lark one day, I looked up the ten biggest Diane Warren hits and pasted together a handful of lines from each to make one mega-sappy super lyric. It was, perhaps not surprisingly, very easy to rearrange her existing words to rhyme in this new Megatron fashion. My…

I've often felt the same, but fortunately he's so prolific and ADD-riddled that none of these goofy side projects seem to divert that much attention from his traditional work. Like many, I eagerly await the return of the mighty Cardinals, though I'm sure that whenever he gets around to it, he'll also insist on…
