I have a nagging feeling that the new Community showrunners will make (assuming they do) genre/pop culture parodies in the exactly same way as Modern Family did this "parody" of soap operas: general & broad and totally out of place in regards to any character development or tone of the show.

Tracy Jordan is such an obvious, over-the-top parody. Only extreme political correctness would find objections with it, same one that would probably kill any kind of humor.

All 3 of those shows are basically the same show, the only reason SN is still bearable is the fact Sorkin didnt develop all the "issues" he tackled in WW and S60.
