Hedwig was horrible as well. I mean what the hell did a bird ever do to anyone. Damn. I knew I was in for a slaughter after that.

I can't even listen at home. What do I need to download?

"What is that?"

So long as they don't go ass to mouth it should be fine.

It's not just ruining the episodes but the whole experience of hashing it out here at the AV club. Stupid trolls.

Amen brother. If McD's can be open 24 freakin hours a day how hard is it to grab a frozen sausage and nuke it.

JC James that is hilarious in a disturbing grandma fairness kinda way. It almost trumps my holocaust denying grandfather who did not vote because "it is all just a show Washington puts on".

It seemed like they were putting two episodes together. Not enough time to develop them all….

I have to agree. Mothers of teenage daughters were giving silent high fives all across the country to that bit.

Agreed. South Park has always been hit or miss. Even individual episodes can be hit or miss. I mean Whale Wars was meh, but I can't hear Poker Face without picturing Cartman. The Christmas episodes go into rotation with Scrooged and Christmas Story every year. Blood Orgy!

@ Warren Oats, those of us who lived in the sticks only got cartoons on Saturdays, man.

1977. Cabbage Patch Kids, The Smurfs, Garbage Pail Cards, when peggings was something you did to your pants and being a badass for owning a bootleg copy of 2 Live Crew. Seems pretty tame now.

20 points to The Cross on that one.

The waterworks started as soon as he sputtered "Is she here?".

After the fight with Jacob, the angles looking up at Jacob from Richards perspective should be framed and hung in a museum. A special museum for Lost freaks of course but still.

If we are going to nitpick about the "New World", I'm with Mayor wouldn't Richard really have been an indentured servent. That was the deal offered to many criminals during those times, right???

Original Doritos + Tuna Salad = Awesomeness

I also felt relieved/hopeful/pleased at the end of this episode which is in direct contrast to last weeks where I felt dismayed/creeped out/a sense of impending doom. I'm probably being set up to feel this way but good writing nonetheless.

@ Cathartic, I laughed out loud in an uncomfortable sort of way

So says lostpedia. I'm too lazy to figure it myself. They also noted this was like the 200th aniversary of Chopins death this week. I think Darlton and Cuse have sold their souls to the devil for such spot on timing : )
