Well; there's a ton of white dudes doing comedy in the United States.  It's an epidemic, a real societal issue that needs solving.

They also come from a really lame generation.

It was prior to them selling out a little movement in music affectionately referred to as Punk.

Even Kaufman knew that wasn't funny, which was probably why he did it.  Oddly, that was his whole shtick…being odd and purposefully unfunny at all times, forever.

I'm sure he'll have a topical joke pertaining to the Iran Hostage Crisis of 1980, which destroyed Jimmy Carter's bid for re-election.  Also: Atari happened.

Finally is this current "generation" of comics actually funny, or did they all take the same move out of Andy Kaufman's playbook of "Anti-Comedy"?

I was hoping they would get rid of Cecily Strong.  I also want SNL to primarily focus on the lovely and endearing Vanessa Bayer from here on out.  Also; not looking forward to seeing Mike O'Brien.
