Fair point.  Tropes are often purposefully busted up though and I am sure BB has many times before.  I agree it was "obvious" to some extent, but still feel the way people were talking about it was beyond just reading the tea leaves.  Just my opinion.  It hurt my enjoyment of the show as it did painfully in last

You are telling me the information wasn't out there?  That I don't buy.  I buy some of the people maybe not knowing for sure, but it's just the way people were talking about it.  Inevitable certainty.  You didn't get that with Gus also last year?  That one I know was spoiled way ahead of time.

I agree it was foreshadowed, but I mean Skyler/Jesse/Mike/Hank etc. are all in that same boat of stopping him from getting exactly what he wants, but they aren't all "known to be dying" in the same time frame as Mike dying.  Also, Walt figured out the way to get Mike out of the picture and keep his Empire.  Mike

So you don't understand what I mean?  You don't see a difference between, I think Walt is going to take out Mike at some point with, "this is the episode Mike is going to die", or I am going to really miss Gus next season.  They aren't implying "I think I will miss Gus next season".  They are saying when Gus dies (as

Yes! Surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet.  Other people said Mike was confirming that he killed Gus, but what I saw was yet another time of Mike thinking "Walt, shut the fuck up."  Didn't he shake his head?  I might be wrong.  But yeah, that was exactly what I was thinking.  You do not want to brag about that one.

What I am saying is that I was.  Yeah, people didn't come out and say where they heard it from.  But if you look back at any of the posts on BB in the past couple weeks a lot of people came to the "independent" conclusion that Mike was going to die.  It's not a coincidence.

Hm….you knew it was coming.  Seemingly everybody did around here.  Were you all watching interviews with the actors and knowing he is not back next season, or did somebody spoil one of you, who in turn decided to spoil everybody else?  Am I the only one pissed about this?  I want the story to unfold by itself, not

Anybody else ruined again by the AVClub for Mike's death? Just like last season, nearly all season people are stating, man I will be really sad to see Gus go/This is how Walt is going to take out Gus etc.
Please do me one small favor AVClub (yeah, I could just stop coming, but I like coming here), if you have already

Thought of it, but nobody knows Walt had anything to do with it.  Jesse was connected though.

I listened to it again….and it's not.  My bad.  Little bit similar in melody, but not it.

I heard "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot".  I mentioned it in another thread, but it felt especially weird (if it was Swing Low, Sweet Chariot) because it was so cheerful in contrast with it's normally somber tone.  Thematically, just like Walt is overly happy at a time when he should be remorseful.
