I'm not sure why the image was omitted from this post, but there was a picture featuring Pornstache released along with these.

Exactly. I could not believe when I heard the American adaptation was going to be more than triple in length, per series, than the original. That's a ridiculous amount of padding and unnecessary plot. The original was a masterpiece, not simply because of Richardson's bravura performance, but also, the utter economy

L.A. Confidential came out eighteen years ago. What exactly do you think is a reasonable window of time for us to expect you would have seen it if you were actually interested in the film?

Spacey was extraordinary as Jamie in Long Day's Journey Into Night on Broadway way back in 1987, holding his own against Jack Lemmon, Peter Gallagher and Bethel Leslie. It was filmed for PBS and is still available on YouTube.

Thanks for revisiting this season so thoughtfully. Makes me very excited for what is to come :)

OMG someone who hates The Simpsons. Your edginess is killing me.

I will forever and always love Marcia Wallace for giving me this line (not verbatim).

Can we just agree that Adam Driver deserves all the Emmys?

She happily throws out one excuse after another for each of her many fuck-ups, many of which contradict the previous excuses and/or making no fucking sense whatsoever.

There have long been rumours that Lindsay's "company" is available at the right price. Vikram Chatwal was just one of her sugar daddies in the last year.

In her forties? She was confused not long ago for Debbie Harry, who is in her sixties.

A Krabby Patty?

No wonder she started drinking to escape reality.

There's a luxury rehab center (Passages?) that advertises continually during USA's daytime programming. I don't know if they offer treatment for addiction to NCIS and SVU marathons, though.

I fear that merely scrolling past Juan Pablo's picture will give my laptop an STD.

I still regret not buying a bootleg Homer teeshirt when I was in Amsterdam back in the nineties. A crude drawing of Homer with a joint falling out of his mouth and the speech bubble, "Roll me another fat one, boy!" over his head…

I made it as far down in the Gawker comments to one person complaining about Dunham's sleeveless dress worn during the monologue (apparently she's not supposed to show her "flabby arms" in public, or however they described them) before completely closing the tab in disgust.

You know, one week a review of Downton Abbey didn't go up for several hours after the episode aired. Never mind it was an episode that had aired months earlier on iTV and was not embargoed before airing that night on PBS. Know what I didn't do?

Maybe he should have just thanked Obama instead ;)

Oh, quit your bitching. Seriously, shut up.
