I've pretty much given up on the game, unless they rebalance the single-player. There are just too many enemies, and it's not fun. Also, they need the ability to save and quit at checkpoints, and not just between levels. If they fix both of those things, I might give it another shot.

I think in this version Depp's vampire character finds out he's the subject of a prophecy to save the magical realm of Dark Shadows from Eva Green's witch character, and needs to find some magical sword and magical armor.

Yeah it's startling how much he doesn't look like Ben Katz, since everyone else on that show was loosely modeled on the actor/comedian.

The only show I got on DVD that I actually ended up rewatching every episode of. Fucking brilliant.

I've critized people for saying "Oh god I quote that line every day" or whatever, but I actually do often quote lines from Dr. Katz at people. Always people who don't know what I'm quoting, but still.

Agreed. Ben Katz, McGuirk, Archer, and Bob from Bob's Burgers are all very different and easy to separate in my mind.

I think Maria Hill could be good actually.

I don't think it's unusual for someone to do their best work early on and fizzle out from there.

Though I like Harry Potter and Ender's Game, any sort of "Chosen One" story has to work a bit harder to draw my interest. I'd rather someone who is distinctly NOT the chosen one becomes the hero through hard work, perserverance, etc.

I guess I'm the only one who figured out Iris was the "She" in the BA excerpts and yet still continued to believe that Laura had written the actual book. I thought Laura was telling her sister's story.

It's frustrating! Greg Rucka's Wonder Woman run proved how great she can be if someone focuses on what makes her unique, but for some reason nobody can figure out how to make that into a movie/TV series.

I can't tell if Adjustment Bureau looks good or not. I'm thinking it won't be that good or that bad, just so-so. B- or C+.
