A TV show. As movies they are bleh, but as an HBO show I think it would have been successful and interesting to watch.

It was hard for me to rebel against my parent's musical tastes because my parents had completely different taste in music. My Dad loved and continues to love classic rock radio stations and the 200ish songs they play on repeat.

The album that hits me
Is Modern Guilty by Beck. Especially the song Modern Guilt, it's like me captured in sound.

Never saw this but…
Did it continue the heavy-handed stereotyping of a gamer? I remember steering clear of this from the mid 90s portrayel of "nerd." Is this correct?

Every Maria Bamford sketch on Awesome are done better by Will Forte, who has a similar style but a superior delivery. I also recall trying to convince friends and family to watch the show and them stopping at "Cleaning Up After Your Cat" as they thought it was "unwatchable."
