Overall I enjoyed reading this article (tirade?) and while I didn't agree with everything said I can accept that it is the author's opinion and not everyone has to agree. That's part of the fun of being the type of people that take time to write, read, and discuss pop culture, right guys?

Well, it probably helps when you are getting paid to do it. I know that they sometimes get episodes ahead of the air date. But still, how they manage to post really well written and perceptive reviews so soon after the episode airs never ceases to amaze me.

Never heard of The White Queen but I am usually all about historical British dramas. Anyone seen it? What'd you think?

Alright, this is getting out of hand. Who in charge of History Channel is ruining my once favorite channel? Let me at 'em!

Love this movie! Hoping to start a family tradition with it this year with my little nieces. IMO, it's never too early to discover this movie but maybe actual parents would disagree.

Zack, B-, you are much too generous. Thank God I had Treme to comfort me after watching that.
I think you are on to something, though, with your idea of this show's inherent flaw, that everyone is fucked and every situation will inherently end badly. This "theme" just can't be sustained over this many episodes and

I am sure the writing staff of The Walking Dead would love to have Outright's clearly exceptional insights and writing skills.

Ha! Thanks! I knew as soon as I typed that, that they probably already had.

Rubicon! God, I loved that show and really bummed there wasn't a second season. You can see a lot of similarity between it and Homeland, probably due to Henry Bromell being involved in both. However, I don't want that to scare away Homeland dissenters, it is time well spent.

Why does this exist? Just the thought of it made me queasy. Vodka should be untainted by ridiculous flavors and only consumed straight, preferably in the company of Russians.

According to my completely informal poll conducted among my friends, that's the only one people who are not big fans of his likes. As for me, I love it, read it many times. However, the unedited version is overly long, so I would stick with the shorter version if you ever decided to give it another shot.

God, I love Del Toro, one of my favorite directors. So smart, such a big fan himself, which I think totally shines through and is part of what makes his movies so great.

Even though I don't think this show is nearly as good as it used to be, and frequently inspires a lot of eye rolling, damned if it didn't suck me in again this season. Really looking forward to seeing what happens with the Tara storyline.

I am a HUGE fan of dystopias, which is why I enjoyed reading this series, even though they were clearly written for a younger audience, therefore inherently lacking, in my opinion. If the movies are mostly similar to the books, the second and third installments will be much more enjoyable than the first. Looking

I really wish this would get picked up by HBO instead. I have more faith that they could do a good job with this type of material than AMC. The Andy Greenwald http://www.grantland.com/st… write up of AMC has made me question that network's ability to continue to put out good content. That, and the continued existence

I am joining to amend this statement slightly, because I just tried using the site search and it needs some work. I don't know if it was always that bad but when searching for a currently airing TV show the first results listed should not be from 3 years ago.

This feature can be blamed on mobile devices, as it is a pain in the ass to have to swipe back and forth to look at content.

Let's face it, the old site was terrible, especially if you wanted to use it on your phone. The redesign needed to happen yesterday. I don't love everything about it, but it is a huge improvement.

My first thought was "huh, that's kind of neat", my second thought was "the designers must think very little of us". While it may be pointless, at least it isn't obtrusive, the nav bar is sitting there anyway, may as well give it some more functionality.
