There was a word Vanessa said in the beginning that started with an A that I couldn't understand. It's a word that I've maybe never heard before if anyone can recall.

My favorite Vanessa line was when Victor, unknowing that Sembene had slapped her, asked her what happened to her lip, and she replied, "Sembene thought it was necessary to sedate me [smirk]."
