I really like Clara, and in general Jenna plays her really well but I thought she was quite weak during moments of this episode. For instance when the professor is attacked by the Skaldak, her "don't hurt him" was delivered really poorly.

I swear Ros is becoming a running joke with this show. She constantly gets thrown into the deep end with horrible situations and then a few episodes later reappears totally fine with no follow up as to what happened. Often it doesn't really need to be explained (like her beating of the whore for Joffrey for instance)…
