I can't stand to see a woman bleed from the mouth. It reminds me of that Country & Western music which I cannot abide.

Thanks for the info. I might have to try it and then just freeze what I don't use. :)

That is also what I thought. Didn't seem weird to me that Julia would be there to pick up Tommy.

So true. I would love to make my own stock (even as a vegetarian), because it would be less wasteful, but I would spend a lot of time on it, and then throw it out the next week, because how long is stock even good for?

@avclub-808e22af6c33eea22608f30cef458844:disqus Me too. Every time.

Season 5 is pretty good too. Season 1 is definitely the best though, followed by, in my opinion, Season 3.

Agreed. I really enjoy Wilfred, but it isn't a very sustainable premise. 4 years seems about right and the writers will get to end the show properly.

That one scared me so much when I was a kid.

Bob's Burgers isn't up yet. Also a no on SoA.

I too just Netflixed the entire series (finished season 2 in 2 days. Oh the joys of being unemployed). Looking forward to commenting on it here. I think Emily took out Ashley because she threatened to expose Emily's feelings for Jack to Daniel and go looking for more dirt on her.

My favorite episode (which no one has mentioned yet) is Problem Dog. It was just so heartbreaking. I loved it.

@avclub-011d0b4fe6835bb3d37ef4e0ea713de6:disqus I would actually rather have Helena Bonham Carter than Meryl Streep. HBC might not have the greatest voice, but it is better than Meryl in Mamma Mia. But I still don't know why they wouldn't cast Kristin Chenowith as the witch, since she's supposed to be beautiful for

Or just cast famous people who can actually sing - like Mandy Patinkin or Kristin Chenowith…

I totally agree. It was like the Emmy's were saying, "These are the important people who died, and here's the rest, I guess." I also don't care for the clapping. Memorials shouldn't be a popularity contest. However, any time someone got choked up and emotional during one of those speeches, my eyes got a little teary

Me too. It started with Mad Men and I was racking my brain trying to remember the dance scene in Mad Men.

Friday Night Lights really screwed me up, because I can't hate Todd. Every time I see him, I just see sweet, adorable Landry - who apparently took a really dark turn somewhere. He must have gotten the murder bug after killing that rapist.

Wait, why do you guys hate Rupert? Wasn't he voted one of the nicest players ever or something?

I have a friend who has been marathoning Dexter and is currently on season 6. He doesn't know Adama is dead (and he is a horror buff, so I thought for sure he'd figure it out) and is really enjoying the "writing" on the show. He wants to finish the series this week, so he'll be caught up for the finale. If he makes

Also, US Marshall suspects Debra Morgan is hiding Hannah McKay, so he stops by her house and has Elway stop by her house, but never actually searches the house or follows Deb around (at least, until Hannah is safely at a new location) or bugs the house or stakes out the house. That would just be oh too logical.

James Spader would be good as a 50-something Patrick Bateman…
