We saw him last year in Portland. He was amazing and there were a bunch of Secretly Canadian bands there with him. It was such a fantastic show. Probably my favorite ever.

The actor playing Jojen - Is it the little boy from Sweeney Todd or the little boy from Love Actually? I shall IMDB this now.

He's so great. It will totally be worth it.

Ugh, Andrea. I didn't feel the least bit sad when she died (and I did feel kind of bad for Lori, so it wouldn't have been unheard of) because not only did she suck for the entire series, she also sucked at not dying when presented with an escape. Pick up the pliers, free yourself and then go into a nice little

When I saw Michael Rooker at the comic con in Portland, he mentioned that he thought Merle had a crush on Michonne.

I agree. I didn't hate Richard's dress really. I thought it was kind of pretty, but I didn't think it fit the challenge at all and I think he should have gone home (or no elimination, as someone else suggested). I actually really liked Portland's, Layana's and Stanley's. Patricia's was cute, but I liked it better when

I agree. I never watched the show when Billy was alive, so I never cared for that storyline/relationship, but I loved Larry and he was definitely my favorite of her boyfriends. I didn't realize that he got kicked off the show, but Ally McBeal made me love RDJ. And I admit to absolutely adoring this show when I watched

Didn't Chicago Hope do a musical episode? I seem to recall Adam Arkin had a brain hemorrhage or something and Mandy Patinkin sang "When the red, red robin." I loved that episode. I taped it and watched it all the time. That was Chicago Hope, right?

For a long time, I thought Cuddy was actually a transvestite. lol

I mean, there are definitely people who make great pants, but it is a lot more difficult than one might think. We learned how, but the instructors were constantly having to change the pattern design we were given in the books because they were totally wrong.

I agree so much with point #1. In addition to hastily made crap, it also discourages the designers to think outside the box and be creative and engenders a "safe is best" mentality, which I hate.

When I was in design school, no one knew how to make pants either. In fact, even the construction books didn't know how to do it. I guess it's just a really difficult pattern to make look good (maybe too much variety in size, etc.)

I said the exact same thing to my boyfriend. Purdue has the 14th best vet school in the country. Boiler up!

I haven't watched this episode of Survivor (although I am totally going to now), so I am not sure what exactly happened, but I can say, as someone who has lived with a bipolar person for six years, that a bipolar manic or depressive episode will last for several weeks/months, but having crazy outbursts of anger is

I live in Portland. My thoughts on it are that it is a fantastically, fabulous place to live, but there really isn't a lot to do tourist-wise. Good food and you can ski, but those things are in Seattle and Vancouver as well. If you like skiing, and you go to Vancouver, then you can go to Whistler and be fancy. :)

I got Dale. I guess you guys all hate me now (but I secretly loved Dale, so I'm fine with it).

I do agree that the designers shouldn't freak out about having to design for people with curves and things, I just don't like that there is so much disparity in the size of the models. Give them all people who are a size 14 or something. That would be more fair, that's all I'm saying. And also, to be fair to the

I completely agree. It's why I hate the "real women" challenge. If you are going to do it, give everyone the same size (i.e. larger) woman OR give everyone a model with a different "problem area" and make the challenge about designing for that issue. It isn't fair that the skinniest models always end up on top,

Kristen was my favorite from the first episode, but I figured she would be gone by the  middle of the season. I was so excited when she turned out to be an amazing chef. Hooray for Kristen! Good job, Brooke and Sheldon!

Lily's "I'll get over it" (or whatever) was the biggest laugh of the night for me. I think mainly because I was so surprised at how well she delivered it.
