I just want to applaud i and 1 briefly.

The AVC has been extraordinarily fair towards GLEE - they've given great reviews to some episodes, but then, GLEE has had some great episodes. More importantly, when GLEE takes an off week/month and turns in something bad, the AVC doesn't jump through hoops to defend it. They tear it down and hope for better next…
I just read Veronica's deposition up there for the first time in awhile, snickered, and then scrolled down the page. Then I caught it again scrolling back up the page and laughed out loud. Because that was an amazing scene in an amazing show.
I can't watch videos at work - did JVC just post a link to the hit Mandy Moore vehicle "A Walk to Remember" as news, or did that just really happen?
That's the worst-sounding book I'll ever read cover to cover.
Bless your enthusiasm, you sad, wonderful little man.
In 5th grade at Catholic School, every student had to take part in a team dance competition. My team chose "Greased Lightning", which my teacher listened to once and then politely told us that there was no way on Earth she would let us do a song so horrifically filthy.
I've never seen TRON, but I'd always intended to. All my nerdy college friends loved it, but I'm glad to hear that little-me made the right decision and always watched "The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes" when it was on while skipping "Tron".
Let's be fair - finding out who is doing all these murders has been a vital cinematic plot for decades. Really, it told you very little about what kind of movie this was going to be.
Is it seriously worthwhile? I'll head out to the comic shop tomorrow to check it out.
Unfortunately, I do not possess the Internet and thus cannot use Netflix Instant.
Is the second season of BETTER OFF TED ever coming out on DVD? Or are they going to wait until they have an hour of dead time to air the last two episodes before selling the DVDs sometime in 2012?
It gets better. It gets better with every passing season, believe it or not. Enjoy, BK.
John Rogers
Come back to comics, John Rogers. Please? Your run on Blue Beetle was one of the best superhero comics of the previous decade. You can't just do that and disappear into the mediocrity of LEVERAGE forever, can you?
I definitely understand, and even agree in many instances - it's just too loaded an image to occur in some contexts, particularly within a romantic relationship. You expect Buffy to get smacked around, but it just feels wrong when it's her love interest doing the smacking.
I'm into guys with fat co… uh… consciences.
This thread is going in directions that interest me…
The AV Club is such a loving family.
High school was waaaaay less fun for me than it was for you folks, apparently.
