Goddammit, @CyberneticOrganism:disqus, I feel it when people say things like that about me.

My name is Necrobutcher, and I definitely understand the pain of this particular addiction. It downright ruined my wrestling career!
I'm Necrobutcher, and my mouth really is full!
Wonderfalls and The Middleman would both be great for relatively quick 'one season wonders' to do. Both are flawed genre shows that are nonetheless a blast to watch and talk about.
@newc
A few things…
Meanwhile, "They'll Need a Crane" and "Narrow Your Eyes" are both fantastic break-up songs.
I don't understand you.
They were my first concert, too - football field outside of a small college in Ohio. My cousin and I sang every single word of all the "Fingertips" song on the drive down, which surely irritated the bejeezus out of our driver.
Man, now I kind of feel bad for you. It's worth keeping in mind that Caret is worthless.
"Selfless". "Him". "Conversations With Dead People". "Storyteller". Four episodes aren't much, but those four can stand confidently with the rest of the series, from what I remember.
I thought Sigil was pretty bad - a complete reimagining of the series, keeping essentially no elements of the original? Why even release it then? I didn't even like the original that much, but changing it to YET ANOTHER STORY ABOUT A HIGH SCHOOL GIRL THRUST INTO TROUBLE WHO MUST DISCOVER THE MYSTERIOUS NEW POWER SHE…
Xombi #1
Glad to see Xombi get mentioned. I'd never read Rozum's original series - I just picked it up because I like Irving and because it's nice to see a new #1 that isn't connected to a movie or crossover event - and I thought it was the best single issue of comics I'd read this year. Moody, funny, ridiculous,…
I'll defend bits and pieces of S7 with you guys - the first half, the stand-alones, these are great: "Storyteller", "Him", "Conversations with Dead People", etc…. S7 only gets into trouble with the horrible overarching plot… and even that starts good, with "Bring on the Night" and "Showtime" as both fairly solid…
"Skytanic" is the only first season episode I'd contemplate skipping next time I rewatch the series. The "M as in Mancy" bit was inspired, but for the most part it was a very mundane episode.
Trying to figure out what all the fuss was about, I just looked up All My Friends on youtube. Count me among the converts: that was an incredible song.
Bleakest TV pilot ever is for Veronica Mars. It's almost comical in its escalation of the horrible things that happen to her, but instead of being comical, it's really sad instead.
But when you have super strength, it has to be pretty hard to find a good workout. Who needs muscles when your strength is supernatural?
