how ridiculously entertaining it is—unlike 'Once upon a Time' it
doesn't take itself too seriously, and it seems considerably more

One of the best spec scripts I've read in the past couple of years is David Tausik's "MAS" (note: no personal connection beyond meeting him once)—it would need someone gutsy like HBO to fund it, but it's a dance movie.

"Spiegel im spiegel" is overused? The only time I've heard it was in an experimental theatre piece a grad student friend of mine did in college (and it was a fantastic piece.) I'll have to listen more closely for it.

Yes, if you ever get the chance to see his live show, DO NOT MISS IT. Nothing beats watching "Wisdom Teeth" in a theatre, and the whole Bill trilogy works wonderfully in a crowd.
