From what I understand, the Jewish population of Turkey was never terribly big to begin with. As for Christian minorities, they were mostly composed of Greeks and Armenians, who…yeah let's not talk about this.

I'm pretty sure this is where we die.

I still have no idea why Chad Michael Murray was ever a thing. What were you thinking mid-2000s America?!

@waxlion:disqus I'm kind of embarrassed that I know this, but there was a mention of Bill Weasley having a South American pen pal once, so it could work. :)

Since Harry Potter takes place in our world, I think that we can just say it's the Andes.

Hey! I bet Aching Nad would be a national treasure, depending on whose nad was aching from week to week.

Not only is Jesse like Walt's surrogate son, he's also the person who arguably knows him best and the closest thing he has to a real friend.

I thought it was a well-known fact that Samuel L. Jackson should be in all things.

I must admit that I did sort of like Walt in this episode.

"Walt's lucky streak is up, it would seem"
I don't know about that. Hank would have gotten everything he had to say to Jesse on tape. It might have been better for Walt that Jesse got spooked.

Junior is the one who eats!

@disqus_NLoJoQC0VE:disqus Well, the Twilight films were successful, so the Hunger Games isn't the only successful YA. I would say that the Hunger Games was the only actually good speculative fiction YA film.

From what I've seen, a lot of them are moving the hatred onto Jesse and Hank. They hate anyone who might impede Walt's ability to be a badass or who might hold him accountable for his actions. Although, I do think that the very extreme hatred for Skyler was motivated in part by sexism.

Because those people are crazy. If it wasn't a fictional character, it'd be something else.

Oh dear! I hope that title doesn't mean that Jesse gets "put down." I'm super scared for him at this point.

I really wanted to reach into the screen and strangle Walt with my bare hands for that. It was brilliant, yet also totally evil.

He's eating breakfast with Louis.

I was thinking that maybe Walt Jr. shows up or something.

Of course! I'm super excited for The Book Thief and I've been meaning to read Between Shades of Gray for ages now. The Fault in Our Stars and Wonder were just the two that immediately popped into my mind as being very popular right now.

No, although I can see why you might think that. John Green is really big right now. His book, The Fault In Our Stars, is going to be a movie starring Shailene Woodley next year. The book is about a girl who has terminal cancer. Also, there's a Middle Grade book called Wonder, which is selling very well. It's about a
