It's a pun.

I hope they did, just because the Sunday Times guy sounds like a bit of a tool.

@avclub-3be42d8a3412057f79af152555e39bd4:disqus I think it's almost a disservice to the books that they exploded the way they did. It led to them being compared to works for adults, which kind of wasn't fair. Of course, Rowling's daughter probably has a dollhouse made of gold, so really who cares.

This was written by a popular, well-liked author. Obviously, it only appeals to the lowest common denominator of drooling imbeciles. Wake up sheeple!

I don't know. It seems like a pretty common thing, especially in the world of children's lit. There's J.K. Rowling, K.A. Applegate, S.E. Hinton, etc.

Dude, the poor man hasn't even been dead for a day.

I have to go with All, since there are no misspelled words in their name.

Dang, and I thought it was all about the necrophilia.

Dubbing has gotten really good over the years. There are still a lot of older anime fans who refuse to watch anything dubbed though.

How in the hell did they produce Lars Von Trier then?

I actually cited the Crash Course episode on the Haitian Revolution for a paper. I got an A on the paper, so I guess it was okay.

It's apparently New Mexico slang for going to the dark side or something.

Actually according to the true crime shows I've watched, it's pretty difficult. People will burn bodies using gasoline, but that doesn't work as well as most people think it will. For some reason, there's often enough of the body left over for them to ID the victim. Yes, I find it creepy that I know that.

Yeah, but then he'd have to learn how to cook. That's just way too time-consuming.

Oh dear! The fact that she had kids makes this just that little bit more awful.

Yes, but you can't do any magic with it. Hey-o!

That is one of the many reasons the anti-vax people are horrible. In a way, they are basically saying they'd rather have a dead kid than one with a mental disability. Of course, there is absolutely no reliable scientific evidence that vaccines cause such things. Sometimes I really hate people.

I think @avclub-ee0fbae41b96c8e0ffbc0f8466290c5a:disqus is right. If I recall correctly, the guy had a thing about high-fructose corn syrup, which is an obsession that I believe Keith Olbermann never had.

I don't understand why all of the "why do adults read this shit" people feel the need to come out every time an article like this is published. Seriously, why do you care? As I stated above, adults shouldn't only be reading YA. That being said, I have to think that people who complain about adults reading YA do so

I do agree that adults shouldn't only be reading YA. If anything else, you'd think that people would get tired of teenagers and their bs after a while.
