I've come to talk with you again.
How do you get Cedar from Kedar? K does not sound like that. It has never sounded like that. Sedar would have been awful, but understandable at least.
Judy Blume books I've read:
Are You There God? It's Me Margaret (Should be required reading for all pre-teen girls)
Here's to You Rachel Robinson
Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing/ Superfudge
The Pain and the Great One (One of the first books I ever remember reading)
@avclub-e0cd3f16f9e883ca91c2a4c24f47b3d9:disqus I had to look that up. Who in the hell let him have a pet monkey?!!!
Chris Brown wins easily. Justin Bieber never beat someone as far as we know.
Cocaine's a hell of a drug!
Yeah, I kind of thought the message of the song was that it's great to save money and buy used things.
Also if he's that worried, why does he let his kid listen to it in the first place?
Well I'm never going to sleep again.
"Thrift Shop" kind of wore on me after a few listens. I can still listen to "Can't Hold Us" over and over again and not get tired of it.
Yeah, I really don't understand why people say this song is an example of white privilege specifically. Um, white people can be poor too. White privilege does exist. I just don't see it with this song.
For a second there, I though there was a Marvin Gaye related one of these that I missed.
"And you’re sort of happy your child is into popular music and he’s not going to be some nerd that’s unaware of what’s happening at that moment and what songs are current and your kid is totally on it. "
I'm not done with the piece yet, but what's wrong with being a nerd who's not all that up-to-date on pop music?
In retrospect, I appreciate that episode of Hannibal even more now that I know who Gretchen Speck is.
Also, did anyone else never run across a bitchy/ditzy popular blonde girl in their high school careers? I wonder why that's such a TV/Movie cliche.
I really liked the flash to Robert's future as well. It's just nice to know that he'll be okay.
I'm really starting to warm up to the character. I never participated in anything in high school either, as I just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible.
Goodbye Jean Stapleton! Hopefully in heaven you'll be able to say cling peaches as much as you want.
I started watching today, because of this TV Club Classic. I found the show to be really cute and laugh out loud funny at times. So I'll definitely check out more.
I'm 21 and I just started watching today. I found the character to be very annoying for the reasons you pointed out. Caroline Dhavernas does play her very well though.
