We know Edmure is a bit of a bungler, but he is truly the best marriage the Freys have had in quite a while. He may not be hot shakes as a husband, but he is lord of Riverrun, head of one of the most important and powerful families in Westeros.

We don't have time to read your post. We have to point out that Sims made a mistake because everyone knows that doing so causes your penis to get 2 inches longer.

I would agree, but I can remember working a summer job where we explained to a 16 year old coworker what an orgasm was. The guy was legitimately confused as to why anyone would have sex other than for procreation. So some people really do manage to stay that innocent, even in the age of the internet.

I can see how, if this were the only time Shae had acted this way, the shrew label would be excessive. But it seems that every time she has a scene with Tyrion this season she is browbeating him.

I increasingly find Locke to be one of the most entertaining and interesting characters in the second tier. He may be an insane sadist, but he is at least an imaginative one. Anyone could have decided they were gonna rape Brienne to death, but it takes flair to toss her in a pit with a wooden sword to fight a bear as

Another disadvantage the wildlings will have against any southern army is the technological disparity between them and southerners. Craster acknowledges that the Night's Watch always brings better steel than he can get north of the Wall, and it's not like they have the best blacksmiths around. Most of the wildlings

I can't help but feel that all of the fan theories about Talisa are just a desperate attempt to make the character interesting when the fact is that she's just kind of boring.

Are we shipping Bronn and Tyrion now? Because I could get down with that.

They've got the dragons looking legitimately terrifying in there. The casual meat toss to show that slaver what was up was a smart negotiating ploy by Dany and a chance for the CGI crew to show off.

Thanks be to the Lord of Light that we finally got some more Tyrion-Bronn buddy cop action. Any scene with the two of them together is bound to be a great one, and the chemistry the two of them have delivered once again.

Watching Joffrey shrink back in his throne as Tywin walked up the steps was a great pleasure. Charles Dance continues to crush every scene.

Seems like if Ygritte had ever been with Tormund Giantsbane she would have heard about oral sex before now.

I thought the title of the episode was foreshadowing of some movement on the Jorah-Dany romance, since House Mormont's sigil is a bear and Dany would probably classify as a fair maiden (though not a maiden in the strictest terms. I was surprised and delighted when it was about an actual maiden fighting an actual bear.

@m0nit0rman:disqus I'd go full on R. Kelly if that's what Rose Leslie wanted.

I didn't mean to suggest that benevolence or even simple compassion are a part of his makeup. But compared to the craziness of his subordinates he's a lot more together.

It's a bit mitigated by the fact that she looks like Rose Leslie. Maybe I'm biased by the fact that I find her to be the most attractive female on the show, but if she asked me to go down on her there would have to be some truly extreme circumstances for me to say no.

I feel like Nickolaj has been one of the relatively unsung heroes of this show for a while. Every scene in his cell last season was excellent, and in Season 1 he played the arrogant Prince Charming type perfectly.

Have we even seen him draw a sword before tonight?

I loved the way Roose Bolton was characterized in his scene with Jaime. We've been set up by all the crazy people who serve him to believe that he will be as torture friendly a person as we could hope never to run across. And while he does enjoy messing with Jaime's head a little bit, he's not overly cruel. He has him

My first thought when I saw it was disease, and a friend who is a book-reader confirmed that for me. Although Stannis is somewhat obsessed with getting a male heir, I think he'd be much too honorable to ever torture his own daughter. His wife might do it because she seems crazy, but I think Stannis could rein her in.
