Aroo.

"All god's children got guns."

That's how I remembered it, and a quick googling proved us right.

I've said it here before, and I'll say it again louder: I LOVE "DICK"!
It's a masterpiece of comic retcon, while still managing to be convey the sadness that followed the loss of faith in our national institutions (full disclosure: I was young and foolish enough to believe in Nixon once).

And don't forget the beating is intended to "stimulate the blood flow". If you're injured in battle, continuing to fight will do just that. Every blow you take or land will help you live.

I'm with you. I laughed, a lot. The mystery was compelling, something the show can struggle with. Lassie got happy. Woody got weird. Katy Mixon got Woody. Shawn grew up a little.  Nice action finish. What's not to love?

It's also the only DS9 episode in HD at this point, specially done as an extra on the TOS season 2 Blu Ray set.

Same here. My mom took me to see it in the theater, so it must have been 1964 which means I was 6. Probably too young for it, I just remember being scared and confused. Guess I'm gonna have to check it out again too.

That is I think one of the key dramatic/dynamic differences between Moya and almost every other ship in every other scifi movie, show, or franchise: Nobody is in charge. Pilot/Moya have agency now, but both were bred for servitude. The rest are a disparate bunch, each of which thinks they have compelling reasons why

I would watch that.

See also David Horowitz.

Tracy Chapman?

I still have my 80s VHS copy as well.  I haven't had anything that would play it for over a decade, so I'm glad for this release. (I also remember seeing it a lot on HBO when you had to have an antenna on the roof to get it)

He's running a long distance off-road race, so he's got a pretty big tank. Plus, it gets stolen for a time by a guy who can't figure out how to start it. But (IIRC, it's been 20 years) he does run out of gas eventually.

Something like their webisodes, right? Only expanded to a whole episode? With say, one per season, I would probably be interested. But, these writers have a hard time maintaining course and pace as it is. I don't know that I'd want them distracted like that.

Sorry. When you get to be my age, the mind starts playing tricks on ya. Now, where was I? Aaah! Death!

Death stalks you at every turn! Aaah! There it is. Death!

Mine too, can I come? Next round's on me.

We were born four days apart. He's not an angry young man any more, and neither am I. I like this album just fine. As it seems for you @avclub-e1e9b94dafb06d285e00bd4c2d72b3e5:disqus  he's always managed the right tone for whatever phase of life I'm in at the time.
