They made a whole movie about white privilege.
"Just launch the fucking nukes already, Putin"

Man, that episode.. I don't really care for the filler parts of this show, but the humor really makes up for it.

The channel Pivot. It doesn't come in on Comcast, but does on Verison. Can't speak fro the other providers.

Does this mean there is going to be no more Red Oaks coverage? I was really looking forward to that..

You've clearly seen more Miike than me. I'm pretty jealous I tried watching The Bird People of China. Looked a bit cheesy and I was tired so I turned it off. But I plan on checking out 'Big Bang…', 'Ley Lines' and 'For Love's Sake' soon.

The second Dead or Alive film is pretty different compared to other Miike films. It's also one of my favorites of all time. Definitely check that one out

Agitator was great, aside from yakuza bosses being made during meetings drinking sake.
What didn't you like about it?

Do you have a source on this? I've read a few of his interviews and never heard about this

If William Fredkin was directing this it would have had got a much better grade. It's a shame that it never pulled through.

But where's Michael Imperioli and Vincent Gallo?

Choosing Showtime was a mistake. They always want creative control and piss off show runners. It's happened so many times. I don't know why Lynch didn't choose HBO.

I heard Blindsight could fit under the hard sci-fi category and those aren't really my style. Any truth to this? Aside from that is sounds really good.

I thought they were both going to get renewed and that this was some obscure reference. I'm a bit peeved

Be glad that at least *some* anime got in there. Seriously. But the only other one that deserved a chance was FLCL. Gurren Lagann? nahh. GTO? great, but not enough appeal. LotGH? Oh god, yes yes yes. But the whole 'not legal' opens a can of worms. Despite how amazing that anime is.

I know it wasn't much relevant to begin with, but Rectify should be here.

I bought La Dolce Vita and Nashville. Both were blind buys and I'm *really* looking forward to both. Wanted to pick up The Tin Drum, but I was strapped for cash last month. And for the record Two-Lane Blacktop is a phenomenal movie, so those Hellmans should be great.

The new Little Nemo 'Dream Another Dream' does look great, but it's over a 100 dollars. I'd rather save my money for the original complete collection that is a bit more expensive (plus a lot more pages). The old movie is a childhood favorite of mine.

I think this was Robert Mitchum's last movie. A great film to have as your final one.

Someone get this man to watch Love Streams and Tokyo Twilight
