She could have found it herself, but she wasn't looking because she had made that deal with him.

I think the line "the spots go all the way down" is supposed to be a spoof/space version of "her legs go all the way up", which also makes no sense on its face but is a hubba-hubba-check-out-those-gams kind of statement.

I loved the line, "You're an engineer, I'm a doctor, Keiko's a botanist. And she'll never be truly happy until she can be a botanist again." That is so refreshingly equal, compared to the "there's nothing more important than motherhood" line we've been hearing so much of lately.
