Exactly. The writers are afraid to write the don't-want-to-have-children character, because they still see it in black and white: there are people who want to have children (—>selfless) and people who do not (—>selfish). But it's not that simple; people are more complicated than that and there are other criteria

I just now realised that that had happened. You are absolutely right.

Plus, Claire is suddenly entranced with the idea of motherhood. The character, as I understand her, is not some politician's wife, but has a personality of her own, so why let her succumb to such cliches?

So, Claire's raping is introduced for the character's development, fine, but did it have to be rape? Was there no other way to showcase her fragility and her evolution as a character? It feels too unsubtle, even for HoC standards.

That scene with Marnie and Hannah "pretending" to be alright was amazing.
Also, wow, three consecutive As!

George: I'm not stealing.
Lisa (nonchalant): I don't care.

Geeeeeneee! And also, Sam Weiss, I hadn't thought of him for a while…

Goddammit Danny, indeed!

I'm getting tired of this show… Especially the long stares at the camera. When did it become a 4-wall show?!

I thought the Schmidt and Winston storylines were meh, but Nick & Jess were amazing! At first, I was annoyed at the cliche of them ending up together, but now I am actually rooting for them!
