I think that you're missing the point.  AV Club is merely showcasing bands with quirky or offensive names.  They are actually giving some of these bands mainstream press that they otherwise wouldn't get.  I would have never heard of Pulled Apart by Horses if it wasn't for this year end list.  I liked that band as…
