I feel like everything he's done in the studio after Time out of Mind is simply going through the motions - he's obviously more at home live and brings more to the plate (when he feels like it). It's a pity he and Lanois didn't get along better.
Going to Acapulco is great
That's simply a ridiculous thing to think let alone say or type out
I liked your comment for the first sentence but then felt obliged to point out that Everything is Broken is off Oh Mercy. Cheers.
That's the sound of Dylan handing in his papers and resigning - #1 albums be damned
Yet another great underrated track by Bob from a great underrated album - the only studio album recorded with The Band - although Wedding Song is the only one performed solo. So many great tracks on that album - I don't know if Wedding Song is the best or merely one of the best on it but it's certainly underrated -…
George Jackson
Can you please crawl out your window?
Anything off Á Tree with Roots' that wasn't covered by the Byrds or Manfred Mann might hit the spot

The Dawes will be with you
Including the original ? - the performance over the death scene of the father in Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid? I haven't heard this new Bryan Ferry version - it'd have to be one hell of a take - and further, see earlier
Bryan Ferry sucks arse
… hitting targets that seem surprisingly personal … That's his whole schtick - always has been!
As good as Buckley's cover is that gets to me too - I posted about Cale's version in reply above before seeing this thread - the guy was a mediocre talent at best (with a great voice) but seems to have some sort of genius status attached to him, as far as I can tell because of this song
Anthrax maybe?
Cohen & Buckley's are fine but Cale for the win
Sing it sister - I'm an Australian and we're so retarded we're trying to get like the States
At least you're obviously not making a firstie attempt - what's next on the hit parade? Sonic Fogies? Bob Dylan can't sing?
