Just started watching this for the first time- for some stupid reason, I wasn't watching a lot of tv in the late 90s, but I can't honestly remember what I was doing instead.  I certainly wasn't meeting girls or flying blimps or anything.   About 6 eps in, and am so excited that the AV Club is reviewing this.  Looking

I watched it for the first time over the last year, and was angry that I missed the original run.  Such an amazing show, and if you haven't watched it, Noel's reviews are a great way to catch up.  If  you are really good at avoiding spoilers, or don't really mind them, read the comments The discussions were great and

When this show started, I remember saying that it was going to be the quintessential show that nobody you knew watched, and you never once thought about, but one day you'd see it had gotten picked up for a 5th or 6th season, and you'd have no idea how.  It is the only thing I have ever been right about.

The use of "badass" in the title so shocked America that most historians credit (or blame) it for leading directly to the Republican landslide that fall.  Nabin didn't mix them up.

"A Bad Choice for the Busty Woman" is what I was voted Most Likely To Be in high school.

These are getting a li'l iffy.

"Harvard, class of 86" killed me.

No!  He was a Monster…

Yes- that was when he rejected the ministrations of his sweet and beautiful wife to sing and dance, and she began to suspect something was up.

Thank you.  The Fox Chicago affiliate drives me crazy with what episodes they show.  The last month or so they've been showing better ones, but it seems like one week of classic, one week of garbage.  There is part of me that wants to send an email asking them to stop playing the same crap over and over, but then I

I like that in order to not compete with March Madness NBC left Parks and the Office of the listing, but, you know, fuck Community.

As a Butler alum, I feel vaguely compelled to apologize, but not really.  I don't mind setting basketball back 40 years for another deep run.

I feel like there was an implicit dig at Shawn when someone (maybe even Juliet?) said of her mom that she couldn't understand being with someone who lied to her all that time.   Shawn paused for a split second before saying something witty.  Maybe I was imagining it, though.

Could have also kept in "lipstick-stained".

My favorite part is the "if", like most of the time it was just too goddamn much trouble.  Which it sounds like.  I would have never gotten out.

"Decent fanfiction."  Perfect.  I've been trying to tell people something similar, but for some reason would say "it seemed like episodes written by fans who were ok writers but not as good", or something equally mush-mouthed and numb-brained.   Great comment.

Even as a White Sox fan, I have to disagree that there is nothing to cheer about with the Cubs.  They are headed in the right direction.  I wish the Sox had your guy's upper management (well, Ricketts is an asshole, but he hired well).

It'll be a cold day in hell before I recognize the Gulf of Mexico.

"I tell everyone about Topsy!" killed me.

No.
