But he always figured out who the real villain was, and there was probably more than one time when it turned out to be a scheming youngster trying to pin the crime on an old man or an old widow.  Because of the inheritance. Oh, god, the inheritance!  How did the cops miss that?

Exactly.  I mean, I get why, if you are a critic, you would want to say something more than "this show is just so much fucking fun" every week, so I don't want to be too critical, but it just seems like the reviewer is at odds with what the show is trying to do: namely, be fun.   I don't know- this is the first review

Thank you for that, really.  Interesting to know.  I had always just assumed it was because fish are assholes.

That's a great point.  I think it would start to get noticeable if Shawn approaches 40 and hasn't changed at all.  While I don't think growth is the strong point of this series- which is totally fine; not everything should be Mad Men- not addressing it at all would be off and even increasingly creepy.

I agree that this episode was a little off, but the big arching mysteries tend to be (I like the Yin episodes, mostly, but they always have a different tone, because for once murder means something).    Anyway, I am really glad the show is back- it always makes me laugh, and it just about the most fun show on TV.  I

Oh Margie

I agree in the whole- there are so many times where they extend a joke by a beat too long, to make sure you get it. In this case I think they kind of subverted that by her replying to the "did you say Chicken Pete Pie" with "his friends called him Pete."  A bad way to do that would have been her being shifty or

Wow- this is (pretty much literally) like hearing about people I cared for a lot in high school, and have since let slip to the wayside.  It's been some 15 years since I've read any of WoT, but hearing these names brings a strange sadness.  Maybe I'll try to catch up, but like meeting someone you barely remember for

Well, it gets tiresome, since most of the time I just gape with finger-fluttering hunger before saying "Run!"

Absolutely one of my favorite movies. Barely a week goes by where I don't say "that was..really…sneaky" in some context or another.

You left the AC on, right?

I laughed when Homer yelled at the ducks, but I wish he had just yelled "get away" without explaining why.  I also liked his drawing ("rap music").   Other than that, I sort of wanted to turn it off, which is depressing.

That's crazy.  You're crazy.  YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE!
