Defending Your Life is such a bizarre concept of a movie that its fun just figuring out the "world" of purgatory while the movie unfolds. The past life bit is very clever.

i may have to go see them in st. augustine. Weird Al in June, Conchords in July.

Any mention of secret songs should begin and end with Todd Snyder's "Alternative".

Did he somehow go back and recast the sister/love interest with a different actress in the process because if not then there is not amount of editing he can do to make the movie better than meh.

I didn't know they were still around. I think the last time i looked at their website or bought a shirt was 2008 maybe. Even then, they were starting to go downhill so I just assumed thy closed up shop.

Wait, I never said Hollywood sabotaged her or that she was then shunned. I'm saying maybe that movie woke up some people at how badly she can act.

ugh really? her?

To be fair she was terrible in Alien Resurrection. I thought that was why she seemed to stop getting lots of work. That was the last time she seemed a delayed adolescent to me.

Well I'll be damn.

nothing will be in theaters for that long at the top ever again. too many choices come out each and every week.

Great soundtrack, good movie.

Probably my favorite Bowie song. So, so good.

I watched Bones, yes the one with Snoop Dogg, by myself in a theater one rainy day. I think that may have been the only time i had a empty theater.

The missus and I watched Hateful Eight twice. Thought it was really good but I don't think it will have the rewatchability factor as Pulp Fiction does. Still near the top of QT films though.

Some great stuff for sure and loved the AoD outfit and gun flip but the ending just didn't feel right to me. I get they have to set up the next season but it was off.

I unironically love this song and most of the early 90's dance hits that came out that were more one-hit wonders. They don't seem forced or cheesy like late 90's dance or veer into the EDM scene like early 00's.

This was the first movie I played for my Movie Drinking Club and it was a hit all around. No one else had seen it but me and all involved were more than happy to have seen it. The drinking game is also a good one to get you feeling good.

I like a few of his songs but not really a fan. That sucks though about losing that stuff hopefully he had backups of whatever he was recording.

Did not see an A- coming at all. Watched the first 30 minutes until Ne-yo showed up and bailed it was so boring and dull. Maybe I won't delete the dvr just yet and watch the portion with the big name stars.

Damn that sucks but unfortunately is was just a matter of time. He couldn't get the drugs under control.
