I grew to really like the early stuff but I was initially hooked with the dance stuff. If you haven't check out Adapt or Die, the all remixes CD that was released a few years ago. I'm sure its out there for free somewhere. Lots of good stuff on it.

Growing up my dad bought a pinball machine for me and him. It was awesome but it tended to break frequently but man we had good times playing it together.

You Goonie!

'98 to around 2001/02 was pretty terrible. Luckily The White Stripes came in to save Rock.

No no you are right they are seen as "one hit wonders" to most people but they did have some other minor hits, Missing was just so huge it was hard to compare to anything else.

2) and spawned a good Weird Al song.

only 7?

So not experiencing the 180 that Adore was what is your opinion of it?

I would rather listen to "I'm a little Pea" than that song Kiedis makes up words for the chorus, I believe it goes nig nog nang chang and a tounge click.

I know their songs straddled '95 but I just saw the Gin Blossoms at Epcot last month. So that was fun.

Behind the boat house.

EBTG have a lot of really really good songs. Check out the Temperamental album and there are a ton of remixes of their other songs out there that are great.

Everything but the Girl is not a one hit wonder. They are amazing.

I would also say that OHM was the last RHCP album worth listening to.

Hack the planet!

My first CD i ever got was a Christmas gift of MC Hammer's - Pray. It was glorious.

Which Six Flags? I'm guessing Atlanta since that's where I use to frequent back in the old days and remember Monster Plantation, although have no recollection of actually riding it. I don't think I ever did. I've only been back once in the last 20 years but it hadn't changed too much. Just a few new rides. Still a lot

The missus and I saw MMJ at a club in Orlando about 6 years ago right after Z came out and they were fantastic. I was expecting a mellow hazy live show (which would have been very enjoyable) but got a balls out kick ass guitar shredding show that the album version of the songs did not really hint at.

Good stuff. I hope they don't change their sound too much. I'm all for evolving as a band but too much too fast is a bit jarring. See The Killers.

he's just an asshole?
