"Don't Look Now", from Nicolas Roeg freaked me out bad, though Donald Sutherland going down on Julie Christie eased my terror considerably. Also the original "Wicker Man" with Edward Woodward from the same year had a pretty harrowing ending. The re-make blew large.

Factotum
I liked his character in Factotum. Liked the entire film actually, though some of my respected friends found it depressing. Guess they don't enjoy a good Bukowski romp.

Jerry and Tom is classic Sam Rockwell. Great writing, like the scene with Ted Danson's character.

Finally
Richard Donner's Inside Moves (1980) releases on DVD Feb 3rd

The Dead was always a favorite, though at first I regarded it as a holiday only film. Used to watch it and A Matter of Principle every Xmas. My copy was taped from a PBS station years ago.
The film I really want to see on DVD is Dark Eyes (Oci ciornie) from 1987. Great screenplay and direction by Mikhalkov with

What about "Jerry and Tom"?
Hasn't anyone seen Jerry and Tom or Lawn Dogs? Both were pretty damn good Rockwell roles and films. If you're gonna see his filmography don't miss these. Jerry and Tom isn't to be missed just for Durning and Danson's performances.
