I'll concede that Norton isn't always awesome. That's not really the reason I boycott Ratner. It's the fact that he drained all the life from that movie. Er, http://www.imdb.com/title/t…

rat
The only Ratner movie I've seen is Red Dragon, and it was enough input for me to boycott him. He managed to make Edward Norton boring. I'm sure he can do the same for Conan.
Oldboy
I'm going to go ahead and be the only person who thinks the Oldboy remake might not be bad. Will Smith has been good in a few movies, and Spielberg has made lots of them, including Munich, which is the opposite of homogenized.
That would be "She" and "her", Towelie.
Feather, "reverse racism" is a meaningless phrase. If you're being discriminated against based on your race, it's racism. Yeah, even if you're white.
shorts
I can't believe no one mentioned the funniest moment of the episode: the look on Ben's face when Sock asks him to recall how good he feels when he's wearing his bicycle shorts.
I do love that line. Jeff Bridges is brilliant in that movie.
dougery: I'll just have to agree to disagree with Lebowski's fans. To me it's wildly inconsistent, with half the jokes falling flat (including those "dream sequences"). But the half that work, really work.
Your opinion of Dogville isn't exactly controversial.
Gah. Anyone who uses the phrase "worst film ever made" loses the right to voice their opinion about anything, ever.
response
Tasha: I'm in exactly the same boat. I enjoyed The Big Lebowski, but none of its disparate parts hold together for me. I'm still baffled that anyone with an at-least average IQ can call that movie "great".
Get a room, you two!
On occasion.
in the dark
I see some commenters differentiate between the robots and the human's wisecracks, but while they watched the movie, I never had any idea who said what.

Man, are all of you ever in for a big disappointment over the next four years.
"Your Party" is one of Ween's funniest songs. Cracks me up every time.
Oh, also, if you ever want to venture further into Weird Al territory, I think his most consistently good album is Polka Party.
Don't tease us with "the stories [you] could've told"! Tell!
I am so sorry.
