I'd gladly pay $10-12 to See Diff'rent Strokes: The Musical on the big screen.  Seriously.

The trajectory and portrayal of Fitz is season reminds me of the trajectory and portrayal of Don Draper.   Both interesting characters who even though possessing many faults, the audience generally liked each character for a long time.   And, now,  while we still want to see what they do and find them interesting,

Though not really part of the trash, it should be noted that Daphne Rueben Vega has a fairly big role as a workaday detective.   Seem completely random.   On paper the whole thing seems completely implausible. But it all works beautifully.

"Faux swamp trash" needs to be a "thing" in the fashion world.

@Captain Assholay.  That's a perfect description of the all of the plot twists and it really made me laugh.   Wild Things is just absurd fun.

As far as focused, dilberate trash, it's a brilliant film.   Campy, funny, trashy - just good entertainment.   I'm ashamed to admit it, but I initially found the plot confusing as there are always new revelations about who's involved in the scheme and who is double-crossing who.

I do, and it's awesome.   Though, honestly, it's fairly commonin the Midwest.

"Art punk" is the sort of music-review terminology that doesn't really mean anything.

Look, I love D'Angelo.   His two albums were great, and he was cool (and hot!).   But, so many people talk about his comeback as the Second Coming.   I mean, he was good, but was he THAT good?   I imagine that if he ever releases an album it will be solid, but not any sort of otherwordly R&B/Soul album, which everyone

You know, as much as Lucero revealed himself to be a "true" homophobe, I still thought there was a little hope for him.   It's not like he asked for a transfer or asked for a different partner the next day.   He went about his business with Cooper, albeit in a much quieter manner.

As much as I wanted Coop to be "rescued" by the gas station employee (basically just letting him in to use the phone or calling the police for him), would anyone, for a second, doubt her actions in not letting him in?   He's bloody and crazed and has no I.D. so confirm he's a cop.

Certainly a possiblity, but I didn't really catch it.    I was not thinking rape when the scene unfolded, but it was over pretty fast.   So, if it was rape, obviously the director wasn't trying to shove it in our faces explicitly.

Yeah.  Betty, based on her uptightness and her lifestyle of suburban comfort, would seem like she would be scared in such a situation, but she's often surprisingly unscared in such situations.   She seems more uneasy navigating her privileged life than she is when she's actually out there trying to do something (in

I sort of agree.   It sometimes seems like they're forcing themselves to do something with JJ because she's under contract as a primary actor.

I agree it was incredibly weird and uncomfortable, and possibly in poor taste, but I really don't think it's leading to anything big for Betty.   So many people are making "Oh My God" comments about it, but IMO there's nothing to be scared of.  Betty will keep on being the same Betty - tense, terse, at times seeming

I think last season, as Sally was growing up, a lot of people thought she'd diverge from her mother, grow into someone who stood in stark contrast to her mother.   But, I think it's clear that Sally will simply grow up to be Betty.

The whole notion of spoliers is absurd  Plot points should be revealed.

Bingo.   Since there always seems to be a backlash when people perceive things as "overrated", I am always worried when a reviewer gushes over Scandal, espcially when citing or referencing cable and/or network dramas that are critical darlings.

I basically agree, though, in the context of Southland, I don't think the showrunners have an overt agenda of presenting queerness as an ultimate dead end.   I mean, the presentation of basically all humanity on the show is pretty consistent — the majority of the heterosexuals are, to varying degrees, sad and

I know Cooper is not in denial about his sexuality, he's accepted that about himself.
