Why? And do you mean the actor or the Star Trek character? Either way it's interesting, since I met the aforementioned woman at a St. Patrick's Day party at the Irish embassy. Unfortunately, we didn't really talk, just exchanged numbers, or I'd have realized what I was getting into.

In Tokyo, I once had dinner with an Australian woman who turned out to be so annoying, so abrasive, so infuriatingly obtuse, that even her saying, "Why don't I call my friend Keiko? She's cute and she's really into threesomes!" couldn't get me to stick around.

Are you sure "revitalize rural America" isn't a euphemism for… something? You may have lost a great opportunity there.

Back in 1997 and early 1998, the industry model hadn’t yet shifted to studios putting their eggs in fewer baskets—to execs green-lighting less mid-budget projects in favor of a few big-budget ones.

Off the top of my head, though there are many more:

That's "Der Littlefinger".

You've obviously never visited Scandinavia.

Just looked it up—thanks!

I think Bran's "Chaos is a ladder" woke him up.

Littlefinger has attempted one-one-one talks with Jon and Bran without much success. Will he try Arya next? I don't see that going well.

There's an exciting climax, but it takes a while to get there.

Platonic? Filial?

I believe the correct term is a "bale."

How about surgery under local anesthetic while riding a roller coaster? You'd probably make the A.V. Club's newswire!

In four days, I will be in Bangkok.

That's why Qyburn is such a genius!

Thanks. Oh yeah, that other one is Ireland.

In fairness, Brienne is used to fighting big guys with broadswords and armor. Arya's small, fast, and was trained in a very different style of swordplay. Reminds me of the time I saw a shiba get the best of a very angry wolfhound for 2-3 minutes before their owners separated them. Ripped-out gray fur everywhere.

It could be poisoned—he's demonstrated skill with that.

I actually half-expected something like that.
