Also: No Lincest!

Dawes Hit Me (It Sounded Like the Laurel Canyon)

I'm a Philles fan, but I can't help but smile whenever Mr. Met turns up on TV.

If he'd used Wesley Snipes, that would have been too confusing.

@avclub-ec26fc2eb2b75aece19c70392dc744c2:disqus , you have made an enemy this day.

We're using it in the pejorative sense!

Are you calling him Lincompetent?

True, but we only saw Ann & Andy's relationship as it was closer to ending.  It seems reasonable he would have been charming at first before she started to discover his flaws.  Meanwhile, Ann has known Tom for 3-4 years now, and has had plenty of time to make up her mind about him.

He caught a lot of bad guys . . . about six bad guys.

"He's a gorgeous genius, people!  Don't question his methods!"

Aubrey Plaza once rejected Ryan Gosling.  If he doesn't meet her standards, what chance do the rest of us have?

Ah yes, the "Flike" button.  Also useful for acknowledging posts about the dog in Umberto D.

What is your problem?

Plus, the reason Ann went on a date with Tom was because she saw what he was like when he wasn't doing his whole Tom schtick.  For her to maintain her interest after he reverted to his Tom-ness (and, at the end, agree to a second date because of his Tom-ness) doesn't make a lot of sense.

You'll never fit all of them in there.

The have slash newspapers now?  Do people ship Business/Comics?

Michael K. Williams will be armed with a sawed-off paintball shotgun.

What about Chinatown?

If it were pledge week on PBS, they'd be showing 60's rock reunions and Suze Orman infomercials instead of some critically acclaimed documentary.

That little earthquake destroyed all of the tiny furniture at the choirgirl hotel, but at least none of the strange little girls were hurt.
