Hmm
The old Kirk Douglas/James Mason movie was one of my favorites when I was a kid, but I'm sure it could be improved by 3D and perhaps a lead role for Sam Worthington.

The title refers to the distance traveled, not the depth at which they travel.

Also, Chartex's post/mizerock's post.

A Bug's Life/Antz

So
does the gameplay require you to make four or five incorrect diagnoses, each of which almost kills the patient, before you can win?

I refuse to believe that any game with that image could be a failure.

I remember "Five Years Gone" being pretty great, too.

As long as
people are casting former Dollhouse cast members, can someone pretty please find Enver Gjokaj some work? It's tragic that someone did such brilliant work on a show that almost nobody watched.

@silly buns: YES, YES, A THOUSAND TIMES YES TO THAT

But don't expect Black Bolt to start yapping anytime soon.

RIP, L&O. I'll pour out a cup of Greek coffee on the curb in your memory.

Psych Test
You really called it on the absurdity of the Psych Test, Zack.

Annie making her "Disney face" as Jeff gave commentary was a superb bit of comic acting on Alison Brie's part.

Planetfall
It's been more than a decade since I played the old text adventure "Planetfall," but I remember Floyd the robot dying. I think it was especially rough because of the nature of the game, where it parcels out the description one line at a time.

There's also that Sunday "Calvin and Hobbes" strip where the first panel is just a sketch of a dead bird.

You know, it's remarkable how few major-character deaths on Lost are for some greater good. Charlie, Juliet, and Michael are the only ones I can think of. And of those, Charlie was the only one who really made a decision to sacrifice himself. So yeah, I thought Charlie's death was pretty damn touching.

I bit into a burrito and found a baby's shoe!

Dwight does have a point
Eye contact during sex is extremely rare in nature.

The only part of that url that made me sad was better-off-ted.
