Doesn't anyone appreciate firsties? There is such a backlash against them on this forum, though I've often enjoyed reading commenter's sometimes funny, sometimes lame attempts at firsties. I think everyone here dost protest too much.

So close…I feel for you. I randomly checked the site just now and thought I had a chance. It would have been the biggest achievement of my day thus far. Ahhh, soul-crushing procrastination!

I once dreamed (dreamt?) that Cee-Lo Green was singing a brand new song for me (not really serenading me or anything, just singing in my dream). It was beautifully upbeat and gospel-like, and the chorus went "Get up! Get up! Get up, we're loooone-lyyyy".
