Almost Human sounds a lot like the shortlived 90s Showtime show Total Recall 2070 (a mash up of Total Recall and Blade Runner in which a human who hates robots is paired with a robotic partner). But I love the cast so I will watch it no matter what.

Yeah you are right, she is not the Jarl's daughter. She said she was the daughter of Sigurd and Brunhilde. Who, you know, were pretty monumentally important (They even get a shout out in Django!). Which probably makes her even more appealing to Ragnar.
