There were technically tons of grounds for annulment in medieval times, of which failure to consummate was only one. Admittedly the likelihood of these being accepted by the Pope greatly increased depending on how powerful you were, and how powerful the family of your spouse were (should they oppose the annulment).

Actually, he had. Mary I.

I would say yes for basically anything pre-1980.

He has flintlocks.

Yup, and Barca and Gnaeus from the first season/prequel. I miss that show.

There was Gili and Taraji Henson in Smokin' Aces. (Not exactly great films . . . )

There are a lot of these in British media, probably because Ronnie Kray casts a long shadow. Crazy Larry in Layer Cake who says "only poofs" sleep with women is pretty clearly based on him.

He probably is for people who have only seen him in the first season of Spartacus.

The only thing I like about the Ambrose Asylum shirt, which is pretty terrible, is that it has the date the Shield broke up on it. Because it amuses me that Ambrose is basically the ex who will never ever get over it.

Didn't she leave for a while in the middle? I could be misremembering. It has been 15 years

I was going to say that he should run off with Greg, but it sounds like his character is still going to be on the show…

Well the actor does have an Irish accent, so that might have been unintentional.

The actor has a fairly heavy Irish accent that he was covering, so that was probably why his accent seemed so weird.

Or Simon Monroe!

Huh, I always thought him being Roma was mainstream cannon. But then maybe I am just remembering mostly Grayson stories.

I love that they seem to be okay with a male and a female character just being friends. That is depressingly rare on TV.

Maybe the copy of Treating Survivors Of Childhood Abuse was for Daryl? I mean he was abused by his father.

This show must have the best casting director. It gets so many awesome actors to guest star.

Bad guy who is mean to everyone but me because he loves me that much is a fairly popular romance novel trope, so there must be something that appeals to people about it

Dude, the new Avengers trailer came out and Tumblr was like "Ultron, world in jeopardy? Meh. . . HOLY SHIT CLINT HAS A FAAAARM!!!"
