If you're a student of comedy, whatever that means, sure, you should know Who's On First.

I don't think the quality has really gone down or anything, but, as the commercial goes, it's feeling "not so fresh."

I'm not much up on music but wasn't there a famous singer named Carl Koblain?

I don't think the hate is because she's putting on a character. There have been plenty of artists who's radically changed their image and are celebrated for it. There are also artists who manipulate the media and their fans and their audience can't get enough.

I don't know if that makes the show "great." That would have made the show great in 1993, but protagonists with questionable moral compasses have been the default for more than a decade now on TV.

The complaint is not because you're speaking to a guy from Yes in 2012, Mr. Harris. Think hard and you too shall crack the code.

Etan Cohen's also a King of the Hill writer and co-wrote Idiocracy.

Yeah, but for whatever reason she's coming off more like Chris Gaines.

He and Byron Allen must have incriminating photos of Dick Clark or something.

Yeah, that shit's bananas.

I suspect when podcasts have recurring games like this, it's at least in part to help them pitch the podcast as a TV show later on.

No, because Robocop.

What are you objecting to with "what they did to Livia Soprano"? If it's marginalizing her, you should probably remember that Nancy Marchand's health was deteriorating and they had to change a lot of the show's focus because of that.

Pity poor Adam Snadler, easily the funniest comedy writer of his generation or any other but damned to obscurity because of his name.

That continues through the 80s, really. Looking at my 89 freshmen yearbook, the seniors look like they're middle aged. I guess everyone just looks younger now, and somehow there seems to be a lot less ugly people as well.

I think there's a bit of resentment, because as pathetic as his life is, he's clearly having a blast. I'd bet a lot of us, deep down, kinda wish we could just hang out, work a no-stress job and party with naiive high school chicks. If only the whole rapidly-getting-older, have-to-keep-moving-forward-in-life bullshit

Where I went to school you'd get your ass kicked just for using a phrase like "accepted me like a peer…"

I'd see a doctor before attempting a Treme binge. The white guilt overload could be deadly.

I prefer Johnny Mneumonic style. I just download 80 gigs worth of .mp4s straight to my brain.
