Yeah the reviewer referenced Scully and X-Files which it kind of reminded me of: sarcastic humor in serious, weird surreal situations. And there are the straight men innocent bystanders like the 2 cops who wonder if the Headless Horseman can hear their commands. The fast pace. The show is cartoony but the main duo are

It could be that I'm a sucker for a British accent (though I haven't watched Elementary.)

Surprisingly enjoyable. George Washington's go-to soldier is cheeky and observant (so many Starbucks) and impressively go-with-the-flow. Easily amused (electric window *are* fun!) And he has progressive views on abolition.

Alphas was fun. The Rain Man kid was my favorite with his inappropriate bluntness. Also the woman with the Jedi Mind Trick powers was gorgeous. Super fun team!

Barbie to comatose Julia:

I'm waiting for Huell to float in on a hot air balloon and lower down a rope ladder for Walt and Jesse.

Todd should hook up with Junior from Under the Dome. They both have a crazy affectlessness.

Some trivia: Robert Carradine of Revenge of the Nerds was in this.

Good catch. Baddies who like to self-mutilate and cut themselves.

I love most anything by Carpenter. They Live. Big Trouble in Little China. Escape from New York. The Thing. This movie is classic Carpenter even if it's not the "Best Movie Ever." Cheezy one liners and bad jokes. Heavy metal guitar riffs. Explosions. I'm not a big fan of the shocking gore but that's Carpenter.

Given that this is Stephen King you're probably right.

"and that Junior is still the most annoying character on American television."

DOME ANGRY.

"Guys, I think he's the Monarch!"

I liked the idea too. Eric did it this season on True Blood.

Walt wasn't very appreciative of the colorful metaphors.

Good point. Lydia and Ayran Nation are the underworld wild cards while Gomez is the law enforcement wild card.

I fell for it.

You may be right. But doesn't he believe Walt wants to kill him? He has to do something to make Walt not want to kill him if he's going to get back in with him. Walt just wants him to get out of town.

"He's the Devil!"
