Love on a Replicant Train.
Love on a Replicant Train.
That's weird, this is exactly what my mom would say to me every morning before I got on the bus for school.
They didn't put "-like" there, though. As written, it seems to be attributing the original—and maybe even the sequel—soundtracks (or, apparently, soundscapes) to Tangerine Dream. Just seems weird to give a tip to a group that had nothing to do with either of them, without mentioning who actually did it. I think…
I'm going to be cautiously optimistic for this.
But I'm not sure about showing the replicants "being born". I think I liked it more when you had to imagine that part. The way they do it here seems a little too on-the-nose to the themes, not to mention seems a bit more "organic" than how the original movie intimated…
The new Voight-Kampff test is just trying to maneuver ET past the pitfalls in the game.
In a good way, or bad way? I'm not saying it's art, but I do think that movie is one of the better ones strictly in terms of visuals. Between that, and the fact that Daft Punk were often aping Vangelis, I can see the similarity. I just hope this one holds up more story-wise.
Somewhere, Joey Lawrence looks up as if his name was called……then gazes into the distance as a vague sadness settles upon him.
Yeah, that's pretty bad. Seems like something you either know, because it's an immensely influential and popular soundtrack, or something you look up, because it's your job. What was the thought process here: "Synthesizers…..musta been Tangerine Dream. Ok, time to publish!"
Welcome……………to the INTERNET!
In THIS future, Atari didn't bury all those games in the desert, and the ET and Pac-Man games were rousing successes.
Did you see the R&R HOF induction? He talks just like he sings, even NOW. And the dude's gotta be near 70. I imagine at the time he helped form the band, he must have sounded like a Chipmunk in conversation.
We all know TD are the only ones who've touched a synthesizer.
Yeah, what? Is this article trolling Vangelis?
Agreed. Even as I watched the episode, I thought "well, this will offend someone". But I think they're very careful in how the do stuff like that, and how Erlich is always, obviously, the asshole.
I technically already beat Breath of the Wild—practically by accident—but I wasted in no time in continuing the game. Finally completed the memories quest, am currently hunting for the DLC treasure chests, and still have yet to locate like 15 shrines, only two of which that I have some idea of where they might…
With a tuning fork taped to it's forehead.
Hm. Maybe Lockjaw will be cool?
Insect cyst?
Don't they understand I'm home playing video games because I don't HAVE friends?
I like Mario Kart, and got 8 with my Wii U.
My problem is, the game really is meant as a multi-player. If your video game time is solitary, as mine is, it doesn't take too long to crank through the courses and see most what there is to see.
