All very true—I find them annoying, too. I'm just glad they make Link fast enough to outrun them, for the most part. Right now I'm trying to find the last memory location, and found myself suddenly in the midst of a Guardian, a Yiga clan guy, and some Stalfos. Even as leveled-up as I am, I got pummeled pretty

Yeah, I agree. Maybe in a few years, if I want to revisit this, I would do it in hard mode. But I'm only interested in the other stuff.

You basically can already do that. Just remove all his clothing. He's just in briefs.

You act like you're too good for bananas and six rupies.

My basic issue with the hard mode is—you can already play "hard mode" by adventuring in weaker armor and weapons, or even no clothing at all.
But I think the path-tracking feature sounds great—nice added functionality that isn't necessary.

You'll apparently need to fight every other NPC that Link runs into in Hyrule. Women want to be with him, men…also want to be with him.

It does rather seem like a book could be written on the various Zelda games' subtext. Or, text.

I bought this when I beat the game a few days ago, without even looking at the details—mostly for whatever the new quest will be that comes out later this year.

Still making my way through the X-Men Omnibus, vol. 2—2nd Cockrum run.

I like A Moon Shaped Pool, but that seems like a tough album to have on repeat. That and Bowie's Blackstar are up there in list of "albums I love and respect, but which I can't really dip into too frequently".

Wait, what's redacted? Hm. As confused as I (often) am, I'll just assume we're in general agreement.

I'm a sucker for some of these big box sets, but I don't know about this one. I'm not terribly nostalgic for OK Computer, as great as it is. I picked up the Airbag CD a few years ago from a bargain bin, and barely listened to it.

I think you're right. Nancy Reagan's about-face on stem cell research once her husband was diagnose with Alzheimer's is, to me, the perfect example of it.
My issue is that is seems to so often require folks to actually experience tragedy like that before they go, "oh, yeah, I guess stuff like this is terrible, and we

That's funny, I was just revisiting this thread today. I actually did, almost by accident, beat the game just a couple days ago. But there's so much more to do! I immediately continued tackling the quests left unfinished, and already plunked down for the expansion pack. This is one game I feel will be almost

My gf is a HUGE Twin Peaks fan. So when we vacationed in Portland and Seattle, we took an obligatory trip to Snoqualmie—stayed at the inn, visited the diner, drove through the area and took photos of different landmarks. It was cool.

I do relate to the perspective regarding the art, though I suppose these days there's not a lot of difference—if any—between an artist's rendering and what you get in-game. Back in the days of the original one, though…

Yeah! I'm kind of a sitting duck, marketing-wise. I dug getting the soundtrack with the Twilight Princess remaster, plus the figurine thingy. I'd have been an easy mark had they duplicated that package for BOTW for Wii U.

I was surprised that Breath of the Wild for Wii U didn't feature SOME kind of deluxe set with extras. I know there was one for the Switch, but I wasn't going to buy a new console after I'd already bought the Wii U based on the hope that there would be a new Zelda for it.

Just thought it interesting the first song you mentioned is famously one he didn't write, but was written for him by U2…whose own reputation these days I'd expect to generate a similar reaction by someone: "I hate Bono, but New Year's Day is cool."

My God, I've wasted my life. I now realize, had I just worked harder, I, too, could have gotten really good at a Wii Sports game.
