Sure. Meanwhile, the TV show will be pretty much wrapped up by then.

Trump's supporters:

The fact that it would leave Pence as president is horrifying, too. Jesus, these next four years are going to be a nightmare no matter what.

I mean, assuming this is even true, and that some kind of video or something is released SHOWING it…..let's say even before he takes office…..then what? Is there a process by which he would somehow be removed from office before he even gets in? (Please say yes.) Straight up impeachment? And I wonder how it would

Bono's voice, mostly. They famously withdrew Red Hill Mining Town as a single back in 1987 because Bono couldn't sing the high notes live. That was in his PEAK. His voice has lowered and gotten raspy over the years—it happens with anyone, but it's been pretty notable with him—so if they couldn't do it 30 years ago,

Much as I like Song for Bob Dylan, I think Syd Barrett's Dylan tribute is the better of the two.

Ooh, they could do a Pop/Joshua Tree double feature!

I can't imagine why they'd want to. 9/11 had happened just a few months before that performance. They've played the song on every show since that tour without it.

I swear, when I see a band has no opening acts, it's just the best feeling.

Hey now!

Indeed. They'd just broken big at the time, hence the opportunity to open for U2. They were certainly no Fun Lovin' Criminals, who'd opened the previous leg.

Some fans are upset they aren't playing Arizaona State University, where they started/ended the original tour, and where the color segment of the Rattle & Hum movie was filmed.

Well, that's going to make finding it on Google Maps pretty tricky.

Coincidentally, I saw Smashmouth when they opened for U2 during PopMart. It was Halloween, so everyone was dressed up. And they were terrible.

IN, this time. You'll find the Edge by the French wines.

It's like they don't even notice I'm THERE!

I liked Peter Gabriel's recent "So" outing, too. Reuniting the band that performed the original tour and using the same staging/light rigs as the original tour was fantastic—the video produced from that tour (Back To Front) is worth checking out.

By the time they got to Stand Up Comedy it'd be just the concessions vendors left.

Nope. But if we find western civilization plunged into war in the next 4 years, maybe they'll be inspired to.

Of course, I'll go. And I'll wonder why I spent that amount of money to see U2 play songs they probably can't do justice to anymore, and why I continue to follow the band at all. But I might kinda dig it, too.
