$280 for good seats, anyway.

Had it caught on, perhaps they'd be doing a 20th anniversary Pop tour rather than a 30th anniversary Joshua Tree one.

Where did you last have it?

Good bit!

Smashmouth would like a word.

Yeah, I only finally got them just about a year ago, when I was inspired to pick up all the rest of the albums I'd avoided up till then. Maybe it's all hindsight, but you can almost hear the failure in them, which would force him to reevaluate things, starting with Tin Machine and followed by his return to making

Outside, Outside, a million times Outside.

My impression of this song (and the others on the EP) is that they were written for the Lazarus musical, as part of the narrative. (I could be wrong about this.) I don't see them as being written in "his" voice. Of course, hindsight and this video makes it seem that way.

Totally agreed about the soundtrack. I found it grating during the scene where he explains what happened to the police, and found it distracting in many scenes after that.

As long as her death in the movies is able to be treated with the significance it deserves, I'd be ok with it. I just don't want to see one of the most central characters of the franchise dismissed with an off screen death and a pithy recap or something. It's obviously more difficult if they didn't actually shoot

But the actress was in service to the story, wasn't she? I can't imagine them just writing the character out via an off-screen death or something. It wouldn't make any sense after the deliberate re-introduction of the character, and her significant relationship to the main antagonist. "Oh, she died" would be more a

No, but I think maybe someone's sarcasm detector was set to "off"…

Oh man, I hadn't thought about that last point. Yeah, give it to her.

I've been wondering if that isn't coming down the road sooner than we think. Maybe less for older established movies and stars, but pretty soon some actor sells his likeness to a franchise, they take digital scans of him/her, and leave the rest of the work to the programmers and motion capture artists.

"….2016 was an amazingly shitty year for the Empire…"

I was thinking the same thing. But who?

Well, to be fair, it wasn't long after I heard about her death that I wondered how it would affect the films. It's obviously a terrible loss, but it's not like her life had a direct impact on mine outside of the movies.

Time for them to get to work CG'ing over Han during the entire last sequence when they infiltrate the Death Star/Skykiller thingy.

"Hello, what have we here?"

Just have her happen to wear the mask/translator thingy she wore when sneaking into Jabba's palace. For the whole movie.
