Just another minor point: why would Ramsey have met Jon in battle at all? He had Winterfell. Jon wanted it back. "Ok, try and take it." Set up archers over the whole thing. It would seem a much more defensible position. Heck, he could still taunt Jon by killing Rickon and tossing him his head from the ramparts.

This sounds plausible, and awful.

It's an interesting idea, but I can't see them turning someone we've seen suffer for so long into a villain. Besides, I expect the final season really is going to come down to Danarys vs. the White Walkers.

I guess I agree and disagree. Sure, Jon didn't know Ramsey's psychology, but knowing he likes to torment his opponent doesn't really provide them a useful tactic or overall strategy. If Jon needed to be told "hey, when Ramsey does something terrible to Rickon on the battlefield, try not riding into the middle of the

I think the dragon effects are getting better, too. It's going to be great when Danarys gets to lay waste to armies of thousands.

She did.

I felt like the show was trying to paint Ramsey in a negative light as he sat atop his horse, calling for each volley of arrows, as if he was cheating or something. Thing is, I'm not sure it was negative so much as sensible. Sure, you want a general who is willing to fight with you. But you don't want one so stupid

The one thing I thought they might do would be for her to know Ramsey wouldn't wait until morning, that he would "cheat" and attack when Jon was unprepared in the middle of the night.

I'm curious what they're trying to set up re: Davos and Melisandre. Yes, it's stupid that he wouldn't already know what they did to Shireen. But that aside, I was surprised at them bringing it back for the "previously on" sequence. And then he gives her a look after the battle. Is he going to kill her? Sure,

Yeah, the timing of this seemed odd. They're on the western shore of Westeros, and Essos is east of it, right? Seems like it would at least have taken at least a few weeks to get there, but I'm not sure of the scale involved.

I don't disagree with you regarding the gender politics. I actually like the idea that she would have something to contribute, which either Jon would listen to and use to win the battle, or actively ignore and possibly lose because of it. My problem was more that when she was finally granted an audience, she didn't

Yes. Which was even more frustrating.

Totally.

Maybe we all saw this coming, but it was still necessary. My biggest problem was Sansa, but not for the reasons she's been a problem before. She spends the previous episodes telling Jon they have to fight Ramsey, when he says he's tired of fighting. But she convinces him, and they do what they can, get as many

Thanks. I thought I was crazy there for a second. I knew it was early 90's.

I have a ton of "free ticket codes" in addition to a bunch $2.25 vouchers. I guess the free ticket codes are only eligible for certain events, but they don't have a list yet. Any ideas what they'll be good for? I can't imagine I'd be able to use them for big name (and big ticket) rock shows….

Good point. In my defense, I'm an idiot.

Show's fookin' long, innit?

Oasis! They could devolve into cockney screaming matches and trade witty insults at the end of each show.

Cos-by, oh, oh-oh, Cos-by!
